A New England winter wool petticoat in a brown color dates from Victorian 1890’s to early 1900’s. The gored petticoat has a wide band of quilting at the bottom hem line. The quilting area is made of a glazed cotton with red top stitching forming the zig zag quilted pattern. Brown lining fabric forms the waistband. Button closes the back opening.
