The colorful graphics of this vintage 1920’s paper covered cardboard box are endearing. The empty box once held Mother Goose illustrated stationery for little folks.
Printed on the box cover is a child sleeping while Mother Goose sits on her red-checkered bed quilt. In the background a bear cub, lamb and fox slipping from the pages of the book, above the child’s head.
Featured on each of the side panels are different animals. Bears, lamb, dog, cat, turtle, Mother Goose, fox, rabbit, duck, frog, goose and squirrel. Printed in U.S.A. but no company. The box, at one time contained 12 sheets and envelopes. Box bottom is plain white paper covered cardboard.
