A 1922 vintage Home Arts and Entertainment booklet supplement to the Woman’s Weekly magazine.  Published by The Magazine Circulation Co., Inc. Chicago.

Here is a wonderful magazine dedicated to home arts, such as needlework, party and entertainment, gardening, food recipes, even household hint and health beauty.  It is full of amazing loveliness and interesting reading.  112 pages, to be exact.  39 pages are devoted to fancy needlework and sewing.  Featured are the instructions for crochet , knitting, tatting, applique and embroidery items.  Fancy work for both children and women ~ collars, cuffs, sweaters, camisoles, coats and hats.  Also hand made handkerchiefs.  Stitches in filet crochet, Irish crochet and knitted patterns.  Table linens are represented, as well as guest towels and dish towels.  Plus decorative home decor such as a pretty lamp shade.  Or why not a lovely centerpiece doily in Hedebo embroidery.  For the bedroom, a lovely Swedish design bedspread is a lovely treat.
