Here’s a little charmer! A child’s sweet dotted Swiss dress with matching bonnet. Dating from the later 1920’s, 1930’s. Made for summer, the white dress is simple styling with a lace yoke on the front.
Wide lace cap sleeves and a ribbon drawn neck line to adjust the fit. The extra length of the ribbon ties in a bow with streamers falling to the hem. The bonnet features a wide ruffle to shade the face from the sun. It, too, has a drawstring ribbon to gather for an adjusted fit at the back of the neck. Then ties under the chin.
