Description
A gorgeous mid to later Victorian lappet collar in s silk woven embroidery ribbon with a damask look. A cream and light golden color, the pattern is in a lovely scroll and flower design. Narrow lace trims the entire edge. The back of the collar is shirred in a gathered design to fit the neck line, with the lappets falling freely in the front.
Length is 51″ long x 8″ wide.
Condition: Other than a couple of tiny tiny pin holes, the lappet is in nice condition.
Beautiful for museum or other type costuming.
