Here’s a neat antique white porcelain china pestle with a graceful turned wooden handle. Dating about 1920’s, perhaps earlier, this culinary kitchen or drugstore tool would have been quite handy for mashing or crushing.
The handle is hardwood, possibly maple. The shape of the pestle is rounded with the bottom being flat.
