From the early part of the last century, a sweet embroidered redwork quilt. This turkey red child’s quilt features children, animals, birds, flowers and animated objects, in 28 quilt squares. Blocks in between are quilted in a flower motif, white on white.
In each of the four corners, a steaming teapot, little boy blowing a bubble, dressed rabbit eating and a bunny wearing a bib. Just as cute as can be. Border of the quilt is quilted in a diamond pattern, as is the background of each of the redwork blocks.
