Here’s a white batiste or lawn fabric, princess petticoat from the late Victorian or Edwardian era. The bodice style is sleeveless and the neck line is round. Narrow lace trims both neck line and sleeve area.
A vertical insertion of lace extends from the neck to waist. Tucks across the shoulder. Slip fastens with hook and thread loops, from the neck line to below the waist. Skirt of the petticoat is attached to a waistband. An accent, of both lace insertion and pin tucks, highlight the front. Towards the hem, rows of tucks and lace embellish the lower portion of the skirt.
