A lovely piece of early 1900’s vintage hand crochet yardage. Twill tape is attached to the upper edge of the trim so it definitely had a purpose ~ perhaps for mantle? It is finished on both ends of the crochet.
The piece measures 9″ wide x 2-3/4 yards long. The width includes the 1″ wide twill tape.
