An older girl’s winter wool half slip underclothing from the late Victorian or Edwardian era. A home sewn petticoat, made from cream wool yardage, embellished with hand crochet trim at the hem. Nice for display in a country farmhouse home…..or inspiration.
The 3″ wide scallop crochet trim is in a cream color wool yarn to blend with the color of the petticoat. A cotton muslin yardage forms the waist band. No fastening at the waist, so would have pinned close. Probably would fit a girl about 10 to 12 years of age.
