Fancy work and everyday housekeeping ~ that is what an issue of the Modern Priscilla magazine offered the home maker. This issue is for the month of March 1912. The array of needle work, latest fashions and other tidbits are marvelous.
Gorgeous embroideries, some with instructions, other mail off patterns, for household linens, children’s clothing, ladies fashions and accessories. Some of my favorite pages are the crochet picture frame, both round and oval shapes. Or the small opera bags in tatted and Irish crochet lace.
Several pages of ladies and children’s fashion. All in black and white print. A magazine would not be complete without the ads, a few short stories, articles and recipes. 69 pages worth of fun reading what life was like then.
