Dating from the early 1900’s a home treadle sewn sunbonnet in a red calico fabric print. A worn and faded cotton sunbonnet it would fit your primitive farmhouse home decor perfectly.
The bonnet is made with a long apron to protect the neck for the sun. The brim of the bonnet is sewn with seven rows of stitches to stiffen the brim to shield the eyes.
