Vintage from the 1920’s, a linen table centerpiece doily with lace edging of a Viking Nordic influence. The motif is a Nordic woman in a small boat pulled by a swan.
The lace is probably machine made. This motif alternates with the head of a Viking. Flowers and scrolls accent the motifs. Very pretty and unusual.
