The apron featured here is an applique made in the 1930. It is a muslin apron in a bib style trimmed in light pink bias tape along all outside edges. Buttons at either side of the back edge of the bib that fastens near the waist line of the front of apron. A single patch pocket on the one side of front.
The apron is embellished with five applique flowers measuring 5″ in diameter (except the one on pocket – it is 3-1/2″). Each flower is embroidered with button-hole stitch along the edge and center. French knots form the center of the flower.
