Here’s a little Nippon bisque doll, dressed in her party dress, ready to step out for a night of dancing. Painted features with rosy cheeks. Her mohair hair is upswept on the top of her head, with a bandeau ribbon securing her hair.
From the hair do I would date the doll from the later teens, maybe after WW1 or very early 1920’s. She wears painted white stockings edged in blue and flat Mary Jane shoes painted in gold.
