A darling pair of hand knitted silk or rayon silk long baby stockings. Made in a cream with a wide blue stripe for a baby boy, the stockings fit over the knee.
A tiny band at the top would allow a narrow ribbon to lace through to adjust the fit around the baby’s leg, while also decorating the stockings. The hosiery dates from the 1920’s – 1930’s.
