From the Victorian or Edwardian era, a cloth needle case. This little necessity is hand made of green silk taffeta fabric, accented with pink ribbon ties. The taffeta on the inside of case is covered with a pink cotton fabric in a clover design. The case includes six cream wool leaves, embroidered in pink blanket stitch, for storing needles.
Size of the case when closed is 3″ x 3-1/2″.
It appears it has never been used. Lovely condition. Perhaps a given as a gift to someone special.
