A tidbit of history on Galion, Ohio.
The village of Galion is in Crawford county, Ohio It was settled by one family about the year 1817 with a few more settlers to come in the next few years. Near the time of the 1850’s it became a small town or village, which I believe at this time it was named. In later years after it was founded, it became a railroad hub. Even today, the population boasts no more than a few thousand or less, so today it still remains a small village.
