Here is a small size china powder jar from the late Edwardian – 1920’s era. Inside opening of jar is of brass, as is the catch. I especially love the detailing to the lady on the lid, with her chiseled nose and “Clara Bow” lips.
Even her jewels have a slight raise surface, so when rubbing your hand across, it can be felt. A small puff is still intact inside. A charming addition to any collection or to accent a vanity.
