Description
A fabulous piece of unused French black beadwork incorporated with black thread embroidery on tulle. Dating from the late Victorian – Titanic era, the pretty design would be suitable for costuming or other project of your choice.
The yardage is still tagged with the Wm J.P. Griffin, New York Paris label. This embellishment trim measures 3 yards 29″ long x 4-1/4″ wide.
Condition: although unused, I did find at the edge, a short strand of beads that have are separated from the netting. At this point some bead loss. This has occurred in two areas. What a lovely piece to spark your creativity.
