Description
The Gatherings is offering an Art Nouveau, Edwardian wooden and gold cane or parasol handle with engraved monogram. I am not familiar with the wood, however, it is very interesting. A knotted wood that is has been smoothed and finished. The handle has a rolled or plated gold collar and tip.
The tip is in an Art Nouveau design of flora with leaves. A monogram of C. J. A. incised on the end. Metal shaft to fit a cane or parasol.
Overall length of the handle is 10-1/2″ long. Gold tip measures 2-3/4″ in length.
Condition: Some dents in the end at the edge of the monogram. Otherwise nice.
