Handmade Pincushion – Unused – in good condition. Dates from the late 1940’s or early 1950’s. Floral Pattern Fabric.
A very sweet home sewn floral fabric pincushion in the shape of a hat. Buckram stiffening is sewn between the fabric layers of the brim to keep it stiff.
The crown of the hat is soft stuffed to receive pins and needles. Green bias tape embellishes the brim edge and forms the hatband. A loop for hanging.
Diameter across the brim of the hat is 5-3/8″. Height of the pincushion is 1-3/4″ tall.
