Description
This hand crafted flat leather case opens to fold-out flaps for storing a pair or pairs of gloves. Snap closures on the case to secure the gloves inside.
Obviously, this was a gift, as written on the top of case is “Mother” from “Libby”. Written on one of the inside flaps is Hampton Beach, N.H. Possibly made by Libby at a time she lived in Hampton Beach. Away at camp or away at school? We can only suppose. A treasured keepsake of fond remembrance.
The case measures 13-1/2″ long x 4-3/4″ wide when closed.
Condition: The outside of case is decent but does have some soiling from years of storage. Inside is very clean. Snaps in working order. A slight crease of the leather at the center as it has been slightly folded over.
