Description
Dating from the 1930’s or about. A pretty vintage 3 piece vanity tray or table doily set in an ecru color. The linen center of each piece is hand embroidered in a floral pattern. Each of the centers of the flower are filled with drawnwork, pulled thread.
Bobbin lace trim, in a scallop design, edges each of the doilies. Each doily is of a different size with the smaller one, 11-1/2″ long x 7-1/2″ wide. The next size measures 13-5/8″ long x 9-3/4″ wide. The largest doily measures 17-1/2″ long x 11-1/2″ wide. All three appear never to have been used.
Suitable for gift giving.
