Description
A pretty vintage linen tablecloth with plenty of hand cross stitched embroidery. Dating from the 1930’s, maybe 1940’s, the cloth features bold colors of flowers and fruit? in colors of blue, brick red-brown and harvest gold.
Layout of the embroidery is a 20-1/2″ x 22 large square at the center of cloth. Forming a triangle on each corner, the embroidery is 19-1/2″ wide x 9″ deep. The overall size of the tablecloth is 54″ x 51″. You will notice from the photos the pattern motif dominates most of the white linen fabric.
Condition is very nice with little usage. Maybe none at all. I found just one small dot of oxidation.
