Description
A black celluloid tatting shuttle, vintage 1920’s – 1930’s, with a tad of tatting lace making still attached to the thread. Found with the shuttle another piece of pretty tatting, almost complete but not finished. Both tatting and shuttle sold as a lot.
Size of the shuttle – 2-1/4″ long, point to point. Width of the shuttle 1/2″ wide.
Condition of the shuttle is used, but good with nicely closing points at either end of shuttle.
Unfinished tatting lace is in a pretty pattern. It is 4-1/2″ across the width and is 3″ long, top to bottom. Ecru in color.
