Description
Early 1900’s linen sheet with the monogram letter “R N” (looks to be) above embroidered cut work. The beautiful cutwork motif measures 7″ wide x 14-1/2″ in length, which also includes the monogram. The two top corners are embellishes with another embroidery cutwork design No fancy work on the remainder of the sheet.
The corner motifs measure 8″ wide x 12″ long, A border of hand drawn hemstitching follows the width of the top. This lovely work extends down the either long sides 22-1/2″ to form the sheet return.
Overall size of the sheet is 96″ wide x 104″ long. The weave of the linen is much like a homespun with a slightly heavier texture. Although has been stored for many years, it is in nice clean condition.
