Gorgeous, Victorian 1880’s to 1900’s, white linen damask towel with lovely poppy flower decoration. The two end of towel are fringed with hand tied fringe. The motif features a circular garland of budding poppies with leaves at the center. An inner, as well as outer border, features more blooming poppies and scroll designs. Truly a beautiful study of poppies. Truly a beautiful towel.
Size of the towel is 23-1/4″ wide x 46″ long. The length of the fringe is 5-1/2″ long
Condition is unused but you may find some slight flaws just from storage.
