A charming assortment of vintage fabric remnants in soft pinks, florals, and gentle stripes, dating from the 1930s to 1940s—perfectly suited for small sewing projects, quilting, or the most delicate of handmade keepsakes.

This sweet and thoughtfully gathered collection of vintage fabric remnants offers a beautiful palette of soft pinks, florals, and subtle stripes—each piece carrying the quiet character and charm of earlier decades. Dating primarily from the 1930s through the 1940s, these textiles lend themselves wonderfully to small sewing projects, quilting, doll clothing, sachets, or journal work.

The assortment includes a pleasing variety of textures and weaves, from softly brushed flannel to airy dimity and sheer voile, each with its own gentle hand and story to tell.

**Included in this lot:**

**1. Lavender Stripe Flannel (c. 1930s)**
A soft and cozy cotton flannel in a delicate lavender stripe. Unused, though cut irregularly.

* One section: 51″ length with varying widths of 10″, 12″, and 13″
* Second section: 18″ length with widths ranging 7″–10″
A lovely piece for small garments, linings, or quilt work.

**2. Pink Voile Fabrics (2 pieces)**
Lightweight and sheer, with a soft drape characteristic of fine voile.

* 23″ x 24″
* 43″ x 24″
Both retain their selvage edges. Each has a few small holes and some oxidation, most noticeable toward the center—still quite usable for many delicate applications.

**3. Pink Polished Cotton**
A smooth and lightly lustrous cotton with a classic polished finish.

* 20″ x 11½”
Unused and in very nice condition.

**4. Yellow Stripe Floral Sheer Fabric**
A narrow and delicate remnant with tiny floral motifs (approx. ½” scale), possibly a rayon-cotton blend.

* 48″ length
* Width tapers from 13″ to 5″
Selvage present along one edge. Unused.

**5. Pink Dimity Cotton Scraps**
A charming grouping of smaller dimity remnants in soft pink tones.
Ideal for quilting, patchwork, scrapbooking, or journal embellishment.

**6. White Dimity Floral (c. 1940s)**
A sweet white dimity with a small floral motif.
* 22″ x 19″
Selvage edge present with partial printing: *“Cranston Print Works… Fabrics USA”*
Narrow extensions at sides not included in measurements.

*A small but meaningful detail, one piece retains its original selvage marking from Cranston Print Works, a long-established American textile mill. While modest in scale, it offers a quiet connection to the rich history of domestic fabric production in the early 20th century.*

**Fabric Notes:**
This collection features a variety of period cotton textiles including dimity (a lightweight cotton with subtle woven texture), polished cotton (finished for a soft sheen), voile (fine and airy), and flannel (softly brushed for warmth). Together, they offer a delightful study in early 20th-century domestic fabrics—practical, pretty, and enduring.

**Condition:**
Overall, the fabrics are in good vintage condition. Some pieces show light wear consistent with age, including small holes and areas of oxidation, particularly in the voile. Several pieces remain unused. Please review measurements carefully, as many are irregular remnants.

**A Collector’s Note:**
Fabric remnants such as these were seldom discarded in their time, but rather saved carefully for mending, quilting, or small household makes. This assortment reflects that spirit of thrift and creativity—each piece a small surviving fragment of everyday life, ready to be reimagined once more.
