Description
A charming early 1900s mattress ticking remnant in classic blue, red, and creamy white stripes—perfect for primitive sewing projects, repairs, or authentic farmhouse decor.
This is an early 1900s cotton mattress ticking fabric remnant, featuring a pleasing arrangement of soft blue, muted red, and creamy white stripes in varying widths. The pattern is classic and timeless, well-suited to primitive and farmhouse-style projects.
Originally used as mattress ticking, the fabric has a sturdy hand typical of utilitarian textiles of the period. It remains in good usable condition, with honest wear consistent with age and prior use.
This is a remnant piece with cuts along one side. There are three heart-shaped cutouts along one edge, each contributing to a missing section measuring approximately 15″ across by 13″ long. The opposite side remains intact.
**Measurements:**
* Length: 108″ on edge with no cuts / other edge would have cuts
* Width (full side): 30″
* Width (cut side): approx. 17″
**Condition:**
Good antique condition overall with expected signs of use. The cut areas are noted above; otherwise, the fabric displays well with strong color and structure remaining.
A wonderful piece for small sewing projects, patchwork, pillow covers, or adding an authentic antique textile touch to your home. Perfect for folding and displaying in a basket or on a shelf.
