Description
A beautiful pair of layover shams in a wonderful metis (a blend of quality cotton and linen) white fabric that is so soft. Dating from the late Victorian or early 1900’s, the pair feature fancy cutwork embroidery of trailing flowers and drawn thread borders on the lower part of each sham. The plain upper part of the sham would fold back under the pillow.
Size of each sham is 27-1/2″ x 35″.
Condition: Although very nice, the pair has not been recently laundered. You will find a tad of oxidation
