Description
A vintage 1950’s millinery hat trim embellishment or for whatever other project you prefer. The soft cool colors of blue and pink, as well as the open weave, suggest it may have been intended for a summer hat. The loops of the trim are tubular, possibly an artificial horsehair or horsehair. Maybe even some type of cloth, looped and tied into an open weave design. It is unused old stock condition, measuring 3 yards 25″ long x 3″ wide.
Condition is nice and very clean, however, I did notice a few frays to the material at the top of edge of a few loops. Actually very minor and I had to look very close to find it. I suppose rubbing against something could have caused it.
