Vintage Tin Animal Cookie Cutters: Primitive Farmhouse Kitchen, Set of 3

SKU: FP15 Category:

Description

A charming little set of early stamped tin cookie cutters, dating from the 1920s–1930s, when factory production began to replace the older hand-soldered styles. Each cutter is pressed from a single piece of tin with an integrated strap handle across the back — sturdy, practical, and made for busy kitchens and children’s play baking.

The set includes three animal shapes:

a sweet little bunny rabbit

and two chicken hens

These cutters are small in size, just right for children’s cookies, and they carry the simple, homespun appeal of early farmhouse baking traditions. Their soft, aged patina tells of many years in a kitchen drawer, ready to cut molasses cookies, butter biscuits, or festive treats for a holiday table.

Today they make a delightful addition to any primitive kitchen collection, a nostalgic accent for a farmhouse display, or a thoughtful gift for the collector of early baking tools.

Condition: Good primitive condition with surface wear, including a bit of surface rust at edge of one hen, and age darkening to the tin, all typical for pieces of this era. Handles remain sturdy. Please see photos for details.
