Thinking of spring? Here’s a cute table runner with colorful daffodils flowers accenting either end the cloth. Worked in stump work embroidery the flowers are a raised design on a white cotton background. Edge of the oblong cloth runner is trimmed in a narrow hand crochet trim. Dates from the 1940’s. Perhaps a bit earlier, perhaps a little later.
Length of the cloth is 25-1/2″ long x 15″ wide. Condition: has been used but still quite nice. Freshly laundered. A couple of very light dark marks that are only slightly visible on the white of the cloth.
Lovely for a tray or table on an outdoor porch. Serve your friends afternoon tea
